We envision a world where children and women are cherished, protected from violence and exploitation, and their human rights are upheld.

What We Do

Founded in 2010 by Alma Tucker, the International Network of Hearts (INH) operates the only group homes in Northern Baja dedicated specifically to children and teens who are survivors of human trafficking and sexual violence. Through our unique Garden Method program, INH has helped hundreds of children find healing, restoration, and hope—empowering them to build futures where their past no longer defines them.

In Mexico, many of the social programs and protections available in the United States simply do not exist for these vulnerable children. INH fills this critical gap by providing a safe home, trauma-informed care, education, counseling, and long-term support for young survivors who otherwise would have nowhere to turn.

To restore the lives of survivors of human trafficking and sexual violence and prevent commercial sexual exploitation and forced labor through awareness, training, advocacy, and interdisciplinary, international collaboration.

RESCUE

International Network of Hearts (INH) helps people identify human trafficking and know who to call, backed by 15+ years of collaboration with DIF, police on both sides of the border, and frontline organizations in greater Tijuana.

RESTORE

Restoration can take years, and we walk with them for as long as it takes. Professional counseling, consistent mentoring, spiritual guidance from trained pastors, and deep friendships with peers on the same journey all work together to rebuild trust and hope.

RETURN

At 18, young adults can move to Casa Vuelta Alto, where they gain independent living skills, ongoing counseling, and support while pursuing higher education or full-time work.

INH is a registered U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported by a diverse community of partners, including corporations, churches, service clubs, academic institutions, student groups, and compassionate individuals. Because of their generosity, we are able to provide life-changing and life-saving care to children rescued from human trafficking and sexual violence.
